Lutheran Girl Pioneers
Lutheran Girl Pioneers (LGP) is a program open to all girls of our church and school who are in grades 1-8.  We generally meet about twice per month on Monday afternoons right after school from 3:20 p.m. to 5:00 p.m..  Occasionally, we meet on Friday evenings or weekends to allow those girls who cannot attend Monday meetings a chance to be part of LGP on a limited basis.  Our program usually begins after the school year has started with a kick off party in mid-September. Monday meetings begin late September and continue through late April/early May.

Our LGP caravan at Christ the Lord is registered with National Lutheran Girl Pioneers as well as with the local Milwaukee District.  All girls who enroll in our program are eligible to attend national and district events that occur a few times each school year.

In addition to fun and fellowship, the leaders of the Christ the Lord LGP caravan plan meetings and events to allow girls to become servant leaders in the church, school and home.  The leaders stress the importance of being "Loyal to Christ,” while showing compassion through service projects that benefit others in our church, school and community.

For meeting dates and topics, please contact LGP head leader Laurie Nitz at 262-695-8138 or dlnitz@wi.rr.com.
